Jid Okeke "raring to go" for Walsall ahead of Grimsby clash - Mat Sadler
Mat Sadler says Jid Okeke is "raring to go" after returning to training with Walsall over the past week.
Okeke was initially unable to train in the build-up to the Saddlers' previous defeat to Barnet earlier this month due to the adverse weather conditions.
The 22-year-old re-joined Walsall on loan after making 18 appearances during the first half of the season prior to his recall by Stockport County.
And the 11-day break between games has provided the German-born wing-back with a platform to regain match-fitness ahead of Wednesday's trip to Grimsby Town.
"He hadn't trained with us [before the Barnet defeat] because of the weather which was frustrating," boss Sadler said.
"We've been very lucky that we've had a full week and a bit more of training since then.
