Mat Sadler still feels the support he has from the Walsall board is "unrivalled" compared to other clubs across the Football League.

Walsall have collected just one win from their last eight games in League Two and have plummeted from the league summit into ninth-place in the process.

'The support I have is unrivalled'

"I'm very lucky in my first job to have the relationships that I have because I know for a fact it isn't the same at other clubs," boss Sadler noted.

"The support that I have of everybody is unrivalled I believe with other clubs. Naturally amongst all of that, it makes it personal because we want the same things.

"When we go through challenging moments, that togetherness keeps us together, and we have had a few of them along this journey. 

"That resilience through communication that we've carried on is key."
