Walsall striker Kemar Roofe awaiting scan results on groin injury
Mat Sadler has confirmed Walsall striker Kemar Roofe is awaiting scan results on his groin injury.
It was revealed earlier in the week that Roofe had sustained the injury during the Saddlers' 2-0 win at Gateshead in the FA Cup on December 7.
The injury has forced him to sit out the 1-0 win at Oldham Athletic and 1-1 draw against Shrewsbury Town at Bescot last week.
Roofe went for a scan earlier this week and is due to see a specialist over the coming days to determine the severity of the issue.
The 32-year-old, whose short-term deal at the club expires on January 1, will not be available for the trip to promotion rivals Notts County on Saturday lunch-time.
