Forde's Walsall JPT goal up for an award
Anthony Forde's spectacular free-kick which set Walsall on the way to Wembley is in the running for an award.
The 20-year-old's stunning effort has been short-listed for the Johnstone Paint Trophy's Ultimate Finish Award for the Area Finals.
It is up against Bristol City's Matt Smith, who has two nominations after finding the net four times in his side's Southern Area Final victory over Gillingham.
Forde fired home from 25 yard six minutes before the end of the first leg of the Saddlers Northern Area Final with Preston.
It set Dean Smith's men on course for a 2-0 aggregate win which secured the club's first-ever trip to Wembley.
