Black Country missing persons: 12 people listed as missing at Christmas and what you can do to help to return them to their loved ones

Missing persons charity Missing People uses a team of dedicated volunteers, provides free, confidential support to anyone affected by a loved one going missing, as well as launching national appeals for the missing person's whereabouts.

Through its website, the charity issues photos of the missing person and provides information such as age, date of disappearance, and a reference number to use if anyone has information relating to the individual.

The list of people we have created includes missing persons from Walsall, Dudley, Wolverhampton and Sandwell at Christmas, with the charity asking anyone with information to get in touch with them directly by texting or calling 116 000, and using the reference number provided.

1) Freda Green, missing from Brierley Hill.

Freda Green, from Brierley Hill, is reported as having gone missing on April 2, 1972, at the age of 22. 

Anyone who has seen Freda, or has information relating to her whereabouts, is asked to use the reference number 24-128818.

2) Stephen Cole, missing from Walsall.

Stephen Cole, from Walsall, has been registered as missing with the charity since June 23, 1996, and was 30-year-old at the date of his disappearance. 

Anyone who has seen Stephen is asked to use the reference 24-189219. 

3) Devinder Pal Singh Anand, missing from Smethwick.

Devinder Pal Singh Anand, from Smethwick, was reported to the charity as going missing on October 22, 1979. He was 24 years old when he went missing. 

Anyone who has seen Devinder is asked to use reference number 25-000447 

4) Sarjit Kaur Mann, missing from Smethwick.  

Sarjit Kaur Mann, aged 20 at the date of disappearance, from Smethwick, was reported as going missing on September 22, 1976. 

Anyone who has seen Sarjit can use the reference number 25-000243.

5) Douglas Mortimer, missing from Birmingham.

Douglas Mortimer was registered to the charity as going missing from Birmingham on December 2, 1981. He was 44 years old at the time of his disappearance. 

Anyone who has seen Douglas is asked to use reference number 24-500267.

6) Michael Perkins, missing from Stourbridge.

Douglas Perkins, aged 55 at the date of disappearance, was registered as missing from Stourbridge on June 1, 2002.

Anyone who has seen Douglas is asked to use reference number 24-150788.

7) Phillip Harris, missing from Sandwell.

Phillip Harris, who is missing from Sandwell, was registered as missing since November 28, 1999, and was 15 years old at the date of disappearance.

Anyone who has seen Phillip can use the reference number 24-182404.

8) Patricia Lashley, missing from Dudley.

Patricia Lashley is missing from Dudley. Patricia was listed as missing since September 24, 1998, and was 33 years old at the date of her disappearance. 

Anyone who has seen Patricia can use the reference number 99-001221 

9) Sami Tafere, missing from Bilston.

Sami Tafere was 16 years old when he was listed as missing from Bilton on October 11, 2018. 

Anyone who has seen Sami can use the reference number 18-005188 

10) Daniel Wayzel, missing from Bilston.

Daniel Wayzel, from Bilston, was reported to have gone missing on October 22, 2018, at the age of 17. 

Anyone who has seen Daniel is asked to use the reference number 18-005184 

11) Jason Salt-Pearce, missing from Stafford.

Jason Salt-Pearce is missing from Stafford. Jason was reported to have gone missing on April 19, 2018, and was 30 years old at the date of disappearance. 

Anyone who has seen Jason can use the reference number 18-002073 

12) Nicholas Edmunds, missing from Walsall.

Nicholas Edmunds from Walsall was reported as being missing from Walsall since May 13, 2016. He was aged 45 at the date of disappearance. 

Anyone who has seen Nicholas is asked to use the reference number 16-002394
