Check out Andy Butler's best bits in this video tribute as he Saddles up for his Walsall return just months after ending a four-year spell with the club.

The Saddlers' former skipper has re-joined the club on one-month emergency terms, less than four months after choosing to leave the Banks's.

And the 30-year-old says he is ready to hit the ground running as he hopes to start against Preston this Saturday.

"It's great to be back here," he said. "It was a tough decision for me to leave in the summer.

"I didn't leave the club on bad terms, it was more for off-the-field reasons so hopefully the fans can understand this.

"I'm going to give everything I've got during my time here; I just want to be out there playing football and making a contribution.

"As a professional when you are not playing, it does get you down, but the opportunity to get back into action has certainly put a smile on my face.

"Hopefully I can slot straight back in and help the club return to winning ways. It's a tough start for us against a strong Preston side, but I can't wait, to be honest.

"I've got a lot of friends at this club and also enjoyed a good relationship with the fans, so I am delighted to be back."
