Former Sheffield United full-back Andy Taylor has signed a contract with Walsall after impressing in the Capital One Cup at QPR.
The 26-year-old left-back figured in the 3-0 loss to the Premier League outfit as a non-contract player but has now penned a deal at the Banks's Stadium, although the Saddlers have not revealed the length of the agreement.
"It's been a tough few years for me," said Taylor.
"I'm very pleased to have signed a deal here at Walsall and now I just want to play regularly, regain my top form and, importantly, start enjoying my football again. It's a nice set-up here with everything we need to be successful and progress."
