Walsall captain Andy Butler has plumbed the depths of despair - now he wants to fix your sink.
The Saddlers skipper is ready to send Huddersfield round the U-bend tomorrow after revealing his plan to learn plumbing.
The central defender is already studying to become a referee after he retires and was awarded his level seven certificate last month. He needs to move up four more levels to be able to officiate in the Football League.
Butler – 28 today – has been inspired to plan ahead by his spell out of the game last year after he was released by the Terriers, being handed a lifeline by the Saddlers last November.
He said: "I have just looked into it and I'm going to start in January. The plumbing is a flexible course so I'll try to fit it in on my day off on a Wednesday. Then in pre-season I'll fit in as many hours as I can."
