Walsall manager Dean Smith today challenged the Saddlers to live up to his expectations after they punished Preston.
The Banks's Stadium boss wants his men to fulfil their potential following Saturday's vital 1-0 win over the Lilywhites on Saturday.
Victory ended an eight-game winless run in all competitions and was their first home league win since the opening day of the season.
And Smith said: "We had a chat before the game and I said organised teams in this league can win football games.
"I spoke about expectations and that they were below my expectations but there wasn't much they had to do to turn it around."
