Walsall manager Dean Smith today labelled the Saddlers "naive" but insisted they will learn from their mistakes after back-to-back defeats.
Walsall manager Dean Smith today labelled the Saddlers "naive" but insisted they will learn from their mistakes after back-to-back defeats.
Smith's men slipped to a 2-1 reverse at Notts County on Saturday after Cristian Montano outfoxed Darryl Westlake for a second-half winner.
It followed a 1-0 home defeat to Brentford and, ahead of tomorrow night's visit of Oldham, Smith insisted they will improve.
He said: "It was naivety from us. They break away, get behind us and score.
"I read an article on Neil Warnock and he said he's still learning. We're all still learning and Darryl Westlake is no different.
"He will get better from learning from his mistakes."
