Martin Devaney: Saddlers will survive

Martin Devaney today upped the stakes on Walsall's relegation rivals and insisted the Saddlers are too good to struggle.

The loan star is convinced the Saddlers can pull away from the League One drop zone. They face Dagenham and Redbridge on Saturday.

"There's a lot of quality at the club and we can slowly but surely push Walsall up the league," he said, with the club 20th after their win over Exeter. "It was a good result on Saturday and we can build on it."
