Wolverhampton sit fourth in the Midland Premier League, six points off the top spot, with 10 wins from their opening 17 league games.

They visit Lye Town tomorrow, aiming to extend their unbeaten run to seven league matches and complete the double over the Flyers.

"It’s been a good start and find ourselves in a healthy league position at this moment in time which is good," said boss Griffiths.

"I think it is deserved as well. The lads have been working extremely hard to achieve what we have and play-offs as an aspiration for the season.

"A lot of credit has to go their way because of how they have taken it in their stride. They are churning results out and I can’t really fault them.

"It is deserved, the lads have been extremely committed to the project this season and long may it continue.

"But, we will take nothing for granted. If you don’t turn up, you can find yourselves on the end of a defeat. Every team poses threats.

"Won’t thing we won’t do is rest on our laurels. We will treat every opponent with the respect they deserve.

"A derby game this weekend and being brutally honest, when we played Lye at home, it was a very tight game, and I thought they were one of the best sides we have played this season. So we won’t be resting on our laurels."
