Ian Long excited for Tivdale Easter programme
Tivdale boss Ian Long has revealed his side are raring to go in a tough looking run of fixtures over the Easter weekend, writes Lewis Cox.
Tivi line-up against Lincoln United at the Beeches tomorrow, before welcoming Sutton Coldfield Town on Easter Monday and then visiting high-flying Mickleover Sports in a re-arrangement two days later.
And Long has welcomed the challenge.
"Myself and the lads are really up for the tougher games coming up, we've had the run of games against Brigg which were a bit of a nothingness," he said.
"But now we can face the big boys and really test ourselves, Lincoln are one spot above us and we want to finish as high possible.
"I suppose you could call it a six pointer.
"We want to affect things at the top, if we take nine from nine over the week – who knows?"
Sam Williams (groin) is to be assessed.
