Tividale 0 Goole 1
It was another frustrating day at the Beeches for Tividale supporters as they lost to the only goal of the game against Goole.
An unfortunate 18th-minute penalty proved the difference in the Evo-Stik Division One South fixture.
Jason Chilton tried to hook away a long punt into the Tividale penalty area, without realising how close Goole's Matt Semley had closed in.
He caught the winger on the head with his boot and a penalty was duly awarded. Bobby Johnson sent Tividale goalkeeper Tom Turner the wrong way with the visitors' only shot on target.
Tividale brought two superb saves from visiting goalkeeper Thomas Beaurepaire.
The Frenchman brilliantly turned away debutant striker Richard Gregory's volley for a corner and later denied Chris Sterling in fine style.
