Tom Turner required hospital treatment, as did centre half Jacob Barnes, after the former came racing out of his box to head the ball clear and clashed into his team-mate.
Turner will be out for up to four weeks and is due back in hospital on Thursday for a check-up.
He tweeted a picture of his war wound and thanked Hanley Town's physio Sam Stonier, who joined her Tividale counterpart in treating the two injured players.
