Jermaine Jenas is told to take it easy
Aston Villa assistant boss Peter Grant today warned Jermaine Jenas not to push himself too hard in training as he continues his recovery from injury.
Aston Villa assistant boss Peter Grant today warned Jermaine Jenas not to push himself too hard in training as he continues his recovery from injury.

The on-loan Tottenham midfielder is yet to make an appearance in a claret and blue shirt having seen his debut delayed by a thigh strain and then a subsequent Achilles problem.
Jenas is undergoing intensive treatment at Bodymoor Heath in a bid to get himself fit by the end of the month, and Grant believes Villa's coaching staff will need to temper his enthusiasm.
"In the first few days he was fantastic and we thought 'Wow, we have a star here,' because he had a real hunger and desire to do well," said Grant. "But he has maybe been working too hard and that has caused a setback with this injury."
