David Moyes is linked if the axe falls on Tim Sherwood
David Moyes is the latest manager to be linked with a move to Villa if Tim Sherwood loses his job.
Pressure on Sherwood is continuing to mount with Villa having lost six of their last seven Premier League matches. It is widely believed results over the next fortnight will define his fate with Moyes said to be the preferred replacement if results do not improve.
The former Manchester United and Everton boss is currently in charge of Real Sociedad in Spain. But the Scotsman has also endured a mixed start to the season, ironically with a similar record to Sherwood having won only one of his seven La Liga games.
Meanwhile, Scott Sinclair believes it's time Villa repaid their long-suffering fansas they prepare to face Chelsea.
"The fans are amazing, we need to pay them back," he said. "When they come and watch and you're not getting results you get the boos and I can understand that. Hopefully we can start getting results and pay them back now.
"We go to Chelsea next. They've got world-class players so it'll be difficult. But if we give 100 per cent, we've got a chance."
