James Morrison went with a system on Saturday at Sheffield United that we rarely see in football - the classic 4-4-2.

And it worked. Albion were compact and tight but got bodies forward and created openings and chances.

Against Southampton, they were always going to have to soak up pressure with the opposition having more possession.

But he stuck with having two up front and it was a brave call. It almost paid off. To an extent it did pay off because it was a good point if you forget where they are in the table.
