What Slaven Bilic said about Championship return - days after West Brom promotion winner was linked to relegation rivals
Slaven Bilic has opened the door on a return to English football - just days after been linked with a move to Blackburn Rovers.
The former West Brom promotion winning boss last took a job in England with Watford - and was last in work in Saudi Arabia.
He has been linked with jobs in England and across Europe in the last 12 months.
But the strongest links came recently with Blackburn - who are Albion's current relegation rivals as they struggle at the bottom end of the Championship.
Bilic and Gary Rowatt were two names in the frame - before Rovers moved for Northern Ireland boss Michael O'Neill.
The former Albion man opened up on the links in an interview with Sky Sports - and also insisted his time in England may not be over.
He said: "It was true I was linked but I decided you know, at this stage of the season it was not the right moment to go.
"That was my decision based on that.
"Of course it is always nice to be linked with clubs from England.
"If the club is right and the moment is right, why not. It is a great job, it is my area if you know what I mean, my second country, whatever you want to call it. So we will see what happens."
