Walsall midfielder Jake Hollman to miss rest of the season with hamstring injury
Mat Sadler has confirmed Walsall midfielder Jake Hollman will miss the rest of the season with a hamstring injury.
The 24-year-old suffered the injury during the Saddlers’ 4-2 defeat at Northampton Town in the EFL Trophy on January 14.
Hollman was stretchered off in the latter stages after coming on at half-time and had a scan last week.
Sadler has now revealed that Hollman underwent surgery on Tuesday and has ruled him out for the remainder of the campaign.
Hollman will remain in England during his rehabilitation which he will start with the medical team at Essington following his surgery.
