Two new signings - but where do Walsall need to strengthen next in January?

Mat Sadler has added two new faces to his squad following Walsall's double loan swoop for defender Kacper Łopata and striker Aaron Loupalo-Bi.

Łopata will provide cover and competition in defence following his temporary switch from League One side Barnsley, after former loanee Dan Cox headed back to Derby County last week.

Meanwhile, Fulham youngster Loupalo-Bi arrives with a strong track record at youth level, which he will be aiming to translate on to the senior stage at Walsall.

Bolstering the attacking ranks has been a priority for the recruitment team after they failed to land another striker at the tail end of the summer window.

Charlton loanee Daniel Kanu has scored 13 goals in all competitions - including 10 in League Two - and will be staying at the club until the end of the season

Aaron Pressley (four), Albert Adomah (two) and Jamille Matt (one) have scored just seven league goals between them this term and Loupalo-Bi will be eager to help lift the goal scoring burden off Kanu's shoulders.

Alex Pattison was quickly drafted in as a direct replacement for midfielder Ryan Finnigan, who was recalled by Blackpool earlier in the window.
