The 20-year-old has attracted interest from a number of clubs in the EFL this month and becomes the second addition of the January window.

Loupalo-Bi has registered 14 goals and three assists in 20 appearances for Fulham under-21s in all competitions this term - including braces against Arsenal and Birmingham City.

He has also scored three times in the newly-formed National League Cup and once in the EFL Trophy (against League Two rivals Gillingham).

"The team are going well and pushing for promotion so it's a new challenge for me in that aspect and one I'm ready to tackle and step up to," Loupalo-Bi said.

"I've had good chats with the gaffer. He's told me how the team likes to play and where he sees me fitting in. From then, I knew this would be a good environment for me.

"I'm someone who can hold up the ball, I like to run in behind and I'm a creative forward. So I'm ready to get stuck in and show everyone what I can do.

Walsall target Aaron Loupalo-Bi in action for Fulham during their pre-season friendly against Nottingham Forest.
New Walsall loan signing Aaron Loupalo-Bi has scored 14 times for Fulham under-21s this term.

"I've had a good start to the season with Fulham so hopefully I can step up and keep doing the same here."

Capped three times for England under-18s, Loupalo-Bi has scored 55 goals for Fulham under-18s and under-21s combined across the past five seasons.

The youngster spent the second half of last season on loan at National League side Dagenham & Redbridge - registering one goal and one assist in 20 appearances.

His arrival comes less than 24 hours after Mat Sadler confirmed top scorer Daniel Kanu will remain on loan at the club until the end of the season

Fellow loanees Myles Roberts and Rico Richards will also remain at Bescot, while one further signing could be announced before the weekend trip to Tranmere Rovers.

"He has had a fantastic first half of the season. Top scorer in the Premier League 2 and he's a physical, hard-working centre-forward who likes to stretch, but can can also link up and bring others into play," boss Mat Sadler added.

"We look forward to working with him and adding another body to our options at the top end of the pitch."
