A number of Albion youngsters penned new deals last week. But when confirming those who had committed to the club, there was one key name not on the list.

Divine Onyemachi, who joined Albion from a private academy back in 2023 - was offered fresh terms.

However, it appears no new deal has been signed and according to reports in Italy, he is set to make a move to Serie A.

Reports have stated that the 17-year-old winger, who featured in last season's FA Youth Cup run, has been attracting the attention of clubs in Europe.

But now Serie A side Leece have won the race to sign the attacker.

Lorenzo Lepore of TV Dello Sport has stated that Leece expect to complete the signing in the coming weeks.

However, he will go into Leece Primavera, the club's under 20 side with a view to breaking into the first team fold.

The move comes as seven Albion youngsters penned new deals or professional deals for the first time - while Reyes Cleary turned down the offer of a contract extension to join Barnsley.
