Manchester United academy product Kris Taylor and midfielder Mitchell Tolley are to join from Boro boss Neil Kitching's former club Rushall Olympic.

Forward Rob Stevenson, who had a spell at Marston Road back in 2012, is set to arrive from Belper Town and ex-England Schoolboys winger Jack Sherratt has agreed to join from Kidsgrove Athletic, all four subject to paperwork.

Of last season's Evo-Stik First Division South winners, goalkeeper Adam Whitehouse and defenders Sam Griffiths, Alex Melbourne, Jermaine Johnson and Leon Miles have all agreed to stay.

Also staying with the club are midfielders Josh Craddock, Levi Reid and Peter Till, and forwards Christian Dacres, Ryan Wynter, Ahmed Obeng and George Cater, subject to necessary league documentation.

Boro have taken up a one-year option on young attacker Joe Thomas, while veteran defender Wayne Daniel has stuck by his decision to retire.

Last term's top scorer Ben Haseley, Nathan Rooney, Matt Wood, Stuart McNaught and Alex Curtis are yet to recommit but talks with those, and potential new players, are ongoing.
