Video: Blyth 0 Halesowen Town 1
Halesowen Town stunned Evo-Stik League Premier Division leaders Blyth Spartans as Tyree Clarke snatched the winner.
The on-loan Stourbridge striker upset the form book to bag his second Halesowen goal in two games and boost his parent club's hopes of gatecrashing the automatic promotion race.
The Yeltz shrugged off their long journey to force several early corners.
But top-of-the-table Blyth soon found their feet as Alex Nicholson made a good run forward from defence before fluffing his final shot in the 21st minute.
Arran Wearmouth went close on two occasions before he had a penalty appeal turned down, but it was soon after that Yeltz struck the 35th-minute winning goal with a classic counter-attack.
Kaiman Anderson pushed forward and fed a neat ball in for Clarke to convert the winner. Late in the first-half, Halesowen lost both full-backs Aaron Griffiths and Bradley Lewis to injury.
The expected second-half home onslaught failed to materialise, although Nathan Buddle missed Blyth's best chance to equalise in front of goal in the 71st minute after being set up by Wearmouth.
Goalkeeper Daniel Platt then made a match-winning save to deny Wearmouth deep into injury time.
