Chambers earns Rovers a return

Hadcroft Rovers had David Chambers to thank for their point away to Charlton House as he netted a treble in their 3-3 Premier Division draw.

Charlton made a good start to the clash and took the lead when Andy Parson found the back of the net with a shot from 25-yards.

Luke Moulton then increased their lead when he exquisitely lobbed the Hadcroft keeper.

Chambers dragged Rovers back into the game when he seized on a defensive error to score his first of the day.

Charlton with his second goal to re-establish their two-goal lead, but shortly before the break another defensive error was again seized upon by Chambers to once more narrow the arrears.

After a tight second half, it was a Hadcroft set-piece that made the difference. A free-kick caused the Charlton House defence problems and the ball fell to the unmarked Chambers for a simple tap-in to complete his hat-trick.

A dominant second half saw Lloyds come from behind to clinch a 4-1 victory over Phoenix.

After a scrappy start, it was Phoenix who went ahead with a goal from Jamie Thomas.

The opener sparked Lloyds into life and they drew level with a right-footed volley from Jason Witts.

Lloyds were rewarded for their bright start in the second half and finally went ahead when Ben Slater found the back of the net.

Phoenix refused to give up but it was Slater who increased Lloyds' lead with a fine diving header before Kyle Carter added a fourth and sealed the points.

Roebuck produced an encouraging display amid difficult conditions to secure a satisfying 4-0 win against Hasbury Colts.

The only goal of a scrappy first period came just after the half-hour mark when a deflected Hasbury clearance fell to Aaron Craig, who calmly chipped the ball over the flailing keeper.

The hosts took advantage of a brighter opening to the second half as Roebuck added to their lead 10 minutes into the restart.

Chris Hunt broke down the wing and squared the ball across the six-yard box for Lee Craig to double the advantage.

With 10 minutes remaining, Hunt added a third after picking himself up following a foul to score from the penalty spot.

Neil Scott rounded off an impressive Roebuck display three minutes from time with a fine header from a corner.
