St Michael's children prove a hit at Tri-Golf
St Michael's Catholic Primary Academy have been crowned the new Wolverhampton City Tri-Golf champions.

And they will be one of three teams representing the city at the Black Country Tri-Golf finals which will take place in Walsall at the end of the month.
St Michael's emerged victorious from a hotly-contested final at Three Hammers Golf Complex in Coven which pitted them against six other local finalists.

They took the spoils with a winning score of 475 points, beating St Stephen's C of E School into second place.
The runners-up scored 344 points while St Luke's came third with 334.
The top three will all represent the city at the Black Country finals which will take place at the University of Wolverhampton's Walsall Campus on June 26th.
Tri-golf is a form of the sport developed to encourage young children to play the game and all competitors at the event were of primary school age.
Three Hammers academy coach and junior co-ordinator Rory Haigh said: "It was a brilliant day and the children absolutely loved it.
Successful
"Tri-golf is played with plastic clubs and softer balls and it involves a lot of different activities.
"They have to hit the ball through tunnels and hit different targets. It is a great way to introduce them to the sport and a lot of the children were asking afterwards how they can get into golf more as a result."
He added: "The tri-golf competition has been more successful this year with more schools taking part both in the qualifiers and the final."
PE teacher at St Michael's Tony McGinn said: "The children were over the moon to have won and they are looking forward to the Black Country finals.
"They did very well and they love playing Tri-Golf.
"We have integrated golf into our PE lessons and some of the children have joined golf clubs now to take up lessons, so it has extended outside of school."
