Walsall manager Chris Hutchings has paid tribute to Richard Taundry and believes the midfielder has become one of the club's star men.

The 21-year-old bagged his third goal of the season in the 3-1 win over Hartlepool on Saturday and boss Hutchings reckons Taundry has matured.

He said: "Richard works hard, wears his heart on his sleeve and is always going to give 100 per cent.

"We have tried to calm him down because he wanted to play 100mph and you can all see he's much better."

Will Grigg has been called up to Northern Ireland's Under-19 squad for their friendly with Wales.

The striker will link up with the squad on Sunday ahead of the clash on May 5 in Broughton, Wales.
