Birmingham striker Cameron Jerome has hailed the team's character in the face of adversity as the team continue to punch above their weight.

Blues have recovered from trailing to win three and draw five games this season, as well as scoring five goals in injury time.

They have hit back to grab a point in each of their last two games against heavyweights Arsenal and Liverpool after falling behind.

Jerome said: "There is a belief now that we can come back in a game if we go behind. We've shown some great spirit and character.

"It takes a lot to do that. Dropping your head is easily done, especially against Liverpool, and letting them get a second goal.

"But we came straight back at them like we have done a lot this season, and started to play a little bit more football when we went 1-0 down.

"It's like we were waiting for that kick up the backside to get us going."

McLeish believes Blues are no longer easy meat on their travels either, as they prepare to go to Manchester City this Sunday.

He said: "We've got 17 points away from home which is quite amazing."

Blues will announce season ticket prices at the next home game against Hull on April 17.
