International lifeline for Walsall winger
Walsall's international outcast Steve Jones has been handed a lifeline by Northern Ireland boss Nigel Worthington - but faces an uphill battle to return to the squad.

The Walsall winger, who has 30 caps and one goal, hasn't played for his country in two years and is desperate to resurrect his international career.
But the 32-year-old has struggled for fitness since his summer arrival and hasn't started for over a month, ahead of tomorrow's home clash with Carlisle.
This week he was left out of the squad for Northern Ireland's final World Cup qualifier in the Czech Republic on October 14.
But Worthington said: "The door is never closed. Steve knows Northern Ireland do not have a lot of men to pick from. I have scouts watching games all the time."
