The Saddlers head to Norfolk tomorrow searching for their first League One win since the opening day of the season, while the Canaries are chasing a third straight victory.

After no wins in six league and cup games, the Saddlers are struggling for form and sit 17th in the table.

Norwich are still one of the promotion favourites despite an inconsistent start, but Smith insists they aren't afraid of playing in front of 24,000 at Carrow Road.

He said: "They are in our league and in our league for a reason, we're not scared against this type of teams and we can do well.

"Norwich are a good team, they have good supporters and good facilities, but we can match them all over the field and go there without being scared or being frightened.

"We can get three points from it. It's another big game and big club. We like playing the big games, so we will go there positive and get a good result."

Smith should start with Manchester City loanee Clayton McDonald tomorrow.

The 20-year-old said: "I've picked up good form early and I'm enjoying playing at the moment."
