Paul Boertien is backing Netan Sansara to take Walsall by storm.

Ex-Saddler Boertien, who signed for League Two newcomers Burton this week, guided left-back Sansara through his debut season last year.

The 19-year-old agreed a new deal with the Saddlers on Monday and Boertien is backing his former protege to become a fixture in Chris Hutchings' team.

He said: "Netan had a good first season and now he needs to push on. I'm sure if he can get in to the team his confidence will increase because confidence comes with playing."
