Blues breaking record for Benitez
Birmingham are to break their transfer record for the Premier League campaign and snap up Ecuador striker Christian Benitez.

An undisclosed fee has been agreed with Mexican club Santos Laguna and personal terms have been completed with the player, who will travel to England for a medical next week.
Blues will not reveal the transfer fee, but they have confirmed it tops the staggered previous record of around £6million paid to Liverpool for striker Emile Heskey in the summer of 2004.
