Man of the match Matt Jarvis insists Wolves can cope with the pressure of remaining top of the Championship.
Jarvis' goal helped earn a point in the 2-2 draw at Blackpool last night and regain their seven-point lead at the top.
"There's still a long way to go but we're seven points clear and we'd rather be in this position than any other," said Jarvis.
"Of course there's pressure before every game but we use that to try to lift our game and get the right result.
"Everyone wants to beat the top of the league team and we've got to rise to the occasion - because we're top of the league, beating us is more of a scalp.
"But we have to go out there with the same attitude and try to get the result we need.
"We're top and teams are going to try to knock us off but we've got to stay composed, keep playing our game and hopefully we can pick up the results we need."
Fellow scorer Sylvan Ebanks-Blake said Jarvis was "brilliant" as he looked the most dangerous player on the field. He was brilliant. He's had a bad injury but he's come back in and done very well," he said.
"He was deservedly man of the match. We need to try to keep him fit and playing as many games as possible. He's a very good player and let's hope we can keep him fit and see how he goes."
Wolves were pegged back twice as they made it two successive draws, but Jarvis insisted confidence remained high. We're confident - we've got a great team spirit, everyone works for each other and hopefully it's showing in our performances," he said.
"Hopefully we'll be there or thereabouts at the end of the season."
Former Wolves defender Rob Edwards scored the 94th minute equaliser after conceding the fourth minute penalty scored by Ebanks-Blake and admitted he had a rollercoaster night.
"It was a bit of an up and down night - I started off early on by giving the penalty away," he said.
"I need to look at it again - I knew I had my hands on him (Iwelumo) but I think it was a 50-50 decision and the referee gave it.
"I was gutted then and then I felt my hamstring, so I was doing well to stay on, so to then get the equaliser against my old club was a great feeling."
Ebanks-Blake said: "It was frustrating to lose a goal so late, but I thought we played well under hard conditions and against a good team.
"I suppose on reflection we will take a point but we're a bit disappointed. Rob is a good player and he attacks the ball well.
"This isn't an easy place to come and we were happy to take a point.
"Blackpool were playing against the top of the league and, like anyone, they put up a fight against us and pulled off a really great performance against us."
