Boss Charlie Blakemore has swooped for Willenhall midfielder Mark Briggs and bolstered his goalkeeping options by snapping up former Kidderminster man Steve Taylor from AFC Telford and re-signing another shotstopper in Martin Taylor, who kept goal in the FA Cup first round against Oldham in 2005, from Sheffield.

Full-back Scott Fuller has arrived from the RAF after a spell at Cirencester.

As a condition in the deal, Briggs won't play when Chasetown play Willenhall at Church Street a week on Saturday.

But Ravenhill has no future at Chasetown after failing to give a reason for not turning up for the game against Dunstable.

Chasetown, who welcome back Dave Woodvine (groin), are looking to build on a run of 13 points out of their last 18 after five away games in six.

But Blakemore knows it will be tough against the third-placed side.
