Pegasus Academy Open Evening 2026

Pegasus Academy in Dudley invites prospective learners and their families to its Open Evening on Tuesday 22nd September. It is an opportunity to meet the team, tour the school and experience the warm, ambitious and inclusive community that helps learners belong, aim high and thrive.

The school’s recent Ofsted inspection recognised the strength of Pegasus Academy, confirming that it provides a high standard of education and care across all six inspection areas, with safeguarding meeting requirements. Inspectors praised learners who “succeed socially, emotionally and academically” and recognised “significant improvements in examination outcomes”, reflecting the academy’s continuing journey of improvement.

Ofsted also captured what makes Pegasus such a positive place to learn. Inspectors noted that learners “enjoy coming to Pegasus Academy” and described them as “mature and sensible in the classroom and around the school”. This is reflected in excellent attendance rates, which are consistently above the national average, showing that learners want to be in school, feel they belong and are ready to make the most of each day.

This strong culture of attendance, ambition and belonging is reflected in learners’ outcomes and future aspirations. In the 2026 GCSE results, performance among learners achieving the higher grades was significantly positive. Alongside this academic success, Pegasus’s gold standard careers provision helps learners broaden their horizons, build confidence and understand the many opportunities available to them beyond school.
