Families invited to add magic to Christmas with Wyre Forest Christmas trail
The trail will take people young and old on a trail around Wyre Forest and is inspired by a popular story.
A winter trail has been created in the Wyre Forest to celebrate a popular book and provide a festive place for families.
Forestry England is set to bring the much-loved story of Room on the Broom to life in the forest, with families able to follow the Room on the Broom Christmas trail, joining Witch and her friends for a festive adventure among the trees.
Inspired by the story by Dame Julia Donaldson and Axel Scheffler, the trail invites children to explore the forest and help Witch get ready for Christmas.
Along the way, young adventurers can use their magical reveal wands to find enchanted baubles hidden around the trail, helping Witch decorate her Christmas tree.

With interactive activities and familiar characters from the story to discover, there is plenty for families to enjoy together as they explore the winter woodland.
Families can also pick up a £4 Room on the Broom Christmas activity pack, available for purchase at the Info Pod.
The pack includes a festive activity leaflet, a special Room on the Broom keyring keepsake and a magic reveal lens.
The Christmas trail comes as Room on the Broom celebrates its 25th anniversary, giving families the chance to enjoy the story together while discovering the magic of the winter woodland.

The trail has been created by Forestry England in partnership with Magic Light Pictures.
Kate Adler, Wyre Forest Visitor Services Officer, said: "We're excited to welcome families to the Wyre Forest for a magical Christmas adventure with Room on the Broom.
“With festive activities, much-loved characters and plenty of woodland wonder, the trail is a great opportunity for families to get outdoors together and add a little extra magic to their Christmas celebrations."
The Room on the Broom Christmas trail runs until January 3 at the Wyre Forest and participating Forestry England forests.
Families are encouraged to check their local forest's webpage before visiting for trail dates, opening times and activity details.
