Update on price rises at Wolverhampton’s WV Active leisure centres

Some prices will rise, but it is good news for members

Prices for some facilities, activities and services at WV Active will increase from October 1.

The leisure service, which is operated by Wolverhampton City Council, has announced that a number of prices will change from the start of next month.

WV Active said the changes were necessary due to increased operating costs, while allowing it to maintain the quality of its facilities, activities and services and continue investing in improvements.

However, membership fees will remain unchanged and will be frozen at their current rates.

In a message to customers, WV Active said: “Like many organisations, we continue to face increased operating costs.

“To ensure we can maintain the high quality of our facilities, activities, and services, while continuing to invest in improvements for our customers, it is occasionally necessary to review and adjust our pricing.”

The organisation said it remained committed to providing value for money and supporting customers in leading active and healthy lifestyles.

Details of all the revised prices have been published by WV Active.

The changes will come into effect on Wednesday, October 1.

WV Active operates a network of public fitness centres and sports facilities across Wolverhampton including Bert Williams in Bilston, Central Baths in Wolverhampton city centre and Aldersley Leisure Village.
