Boots confirms opening date for new Wolverhampton store at St John's Retail Park

The pharmacy giant said the new store on the edge of the city will bring together the best of its beauty, health and wellness offerings

Boots is set to open its new Wolverhampton store at St John’s Retail Park next week.

The health and beauty chain is opening a new store bringing together the best of its beauty, health and wellness offerings.

The new store is set to open its doors to customers on Wednesday (November 4).

Customers are invited to celebrate the launch which will include a live DJ and the Boots Advantage Card mascot who will be giving out vouchers for double Advantage Card points.

Boots said it aims to offer an elevated shopping experience at the new store on the edge of Wolverhampton, making it easier for customers to shop for everyday essentials while discovering the latest must-have beauty brands and trends.

It will include an array of supplements and hydration products including Zookie, Absolute Collagen, Myprotein, Perfectil and Wellthy By Boots.

It will also put the spotlight on in-demand and trending beauty brands such as SheGlam, Sacheu, HNB Cosmetics, Made by Mitchell, Wonderskin, alongside Boots brands including No7, Liz Earle and Soap & Glory, as well as incorporating premium fragrance cabinets featuring Dior, Tom Ford and YSL.

The new store will also include Boots Hearingcare and Opticians facilities which will be hosting a ‘spin the wheel’ event with prizes up for grabs.

The opticians will offer private eye tests, contact lens aftercare and free contact lens fitting and trials, plus a range of enhanced eye care services including pre and post-operative cataract care and the community urgent eyecare service. The additional services aim to make essential eye care more accessible.

Customers will also be able to get the Boots opticians' ultimate eye test, which provides a comprehensive picture of eye health by scanning up to 82 per cent of the retina, compared with 15 per cent typically covered by a traditional eye test. The scan is non-invasive and can help identify signs of wider health conditions, including diabetes, high blood pressure and certain tumours.

The store will also feature a dedicated healthcare area with two private consultation rooms, enabling customers to access vital healthcare services on the high street, from flu and travel vaccinations to blood pressure checks.

Mark Wild, store manager, said: “It's fantastic to be opening our new store at St John’s Retail Park, which also features a brand-new Boots Opticians.

“We're bringing together a great range of beauty, health and wellness products, alongside a range of healthcare services to support the local community.

"We're looking forward to welcoming customers through the door and giving them even more choice, all under one roof.”

The store will be open Monday to Friday from 9am to 8pm, 9am to 7pm on Saturdays and 10.30 to 4.30pm on Sundays.

Boots said the new store will complement its existing large store in Wolverhampton city centre.
