Wolverhampton road closure extended due to emergency works

A Wolverhampton road, which was closed for emergency works, has had its closure extended.
Vicarage Road, in Penn, was closed this morning (July 17) for emergency works and was initially expected to be closed unit Monday (July 20).
City of Wolverhampton Council have now confirmed that the closure “is now also expected to extend into Tuesday, July 21.”
The road will be closed between the hours of 9.30am and 2.30pm daily with traffic diverted via Penn Road, Church Hill each way.
