James Griffiths will be sentenced next month.
A man from Wolverhampton who shouted ‘tell everyone I love them’ during his arrest has pleaded guilty to dangerous driving and possession of a blade.
James Griffiths failed to stop for officers, officers apparently recognised Griffiths as being wanted following a hit and run incident that happened in December last year.
West Midlands Police say traffic officers spotted Griffiths driving through Wolverhampton on the July 9 driving at dangerous speeds and tried to pull him over.

However, he rammed into two police cars causing considerable damage to one of them.
Griffiths continued to drive erratically and at one point mounted the pavement in a residential area and continued to drive across grassland.
His car was later found abandoned in Rindleford Avenue, where he had been seen entering an address.
Officers located him and when he was arrested, he could be heard shouting to a friend asking them to 'tell everyone I love them'.
The 21-year-old was charged with two counts of dangerous driving, two counts of driving without a license or insurance and possession of a bladed article in a public places.
On Monday (July 13) Griffiths pleaded guilty at Wolverhampton Crown Court and will remain in custody until his sentencing next month.
PC Joe Beddoe from the Road Crime Team said: “Griffiths has repeatedly put the lives of other road users and members of the community at risk by driving at dangerous speeds through residential areas.
“We are committed to keeping all road users safe and taking dangerous drivers off our roads.”
