It will be primarily maintenance, repair and services upgrades as well as minor alterations to existing fittings.

Wetherspoon spokesman Eddie Gershon said: "We are looking to complete a repair and refurbishment scheme in Bewdley which will include a staffroom upgrade, dispense upgrade, kitchen upgrade, new carpet, bar repairs, flooring repairs and cellar repairs for £464k cost."

It is expected that workers will be on-site in the autumn.
