Urgent fish rescue operations as part of another Shropshire river dries up
More fish at risk in Shropshire rivers
Part of a Shropshire river has dried up due to the prolonged dry weather,
The Environment Agency has been busy rescuing brown trout from the River Onny from the dried out part of the river part with healthy flows of weather.
A spokesman for the EA said: “If you see a fish in distress or in need of a rescue please call our 24/7 hotline 0800 807060.”
It comes after similar fish rescues were carried out on the River Teme and River Redlake in Shropshire earlier this month.
