Man dies following collision between Dudley and Birmingham as a car hit a tree in the early hours
A man has died after a car he was travelling in struck a tree in Quinton this morning.
West Midlands Police has announced the death of a man following a collision on Ridgacre Road, Quinton, in Birmingham, near Halesowen, at around 12.15am this morning.
Emergency services were called to the scene following reports of a single vehicle collision involving a car and a tree.
On arrival, a man was found with serious injuries, and sadly, later died.
A woman from the vehicle was also taken to hospital with injuries that are not believed to be life-threatening.
A police probe has since been launched following the collision, with investigators asking anyone with information, CCTV or dashcam footage of the incident to contact them directly via their 101 number, or on the Live Chat service on their website, quoting log 46 of 21/3/26.

A force spokesperson said: "A man has tragically died after a car hit a tree in Quinton this morning (21 March).
"We were called to Ridgacre Road at around 12.15am.
"A man was found with serious injuries and has sadly died. Our thoughts are with his loved ones at this devastating time.
"A woman from the vehicle was taken to hospital with injuries which were not life-threatening."
