Pedestrian injured in Birmingham van collision - police investigation launched
Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a pedestrian was hurt in a van collision in Birmingham.
The pedestrian, a man in his 40s, was hit by a van on Kingstanding Road, near Harringay Road, in Kingstanding, Birmingham at around 7pm on Saturday, March 7. He was taken to hospital with serious injuries.
The driver of the van, a man, stopped at the scene and is helping West Midlands Police with their enquiries, while the road was closed to allow a full investigation to take place.
