Staffordshire road closed for a week due to works - traffic diverted
The road is set to be closed until August 3.
Drivers in Wombourne are being warned about a temporary road closure on Orton Lane while works are carried out.
Staffordshire County Council announced that a section of Orton Lane, between Strathmore Crescent and Showell Lane, will be closed to most vehicles from today (July 27).
The closure is expected to begin on or around that date and is currently planned to remain in place until August 3.

Access will still be allowed for residents, emergency services and vehicles involved in the works.
A signed diversion route will be in place using Orton Lane, Penstone Lane, Dene Road, Springhill Lane, Dirty Foot Lane, Warstones Road, Springfield Roundabout, Stourbridge Road, Battlefield Roundabout and Billy Buns Lane, before rejoining Orton Lane.
