A Stafford town centre pub is closing its doors for a few weeks ahead of a relaunch under new management.
The Yard at Espley's Yard will be having a ‘final cheers’ on Sunday (November 8) before the closure.

In an announcement shared on social media, the team reflected on 15 years of trade and thanked customers for their support.
The team behind the pub said: “𝗔𝗳𝘁𝗲𝗿 𝟭𝟱 𝗶𝗻𝗰𝗿𝗲𝗱𝗶𝗯𝗹𝗲 𝘆𝗲𝗮𝗿𝘀 (and a few name changes), 𝘄𝗲’𝗿𝗲 𝗰𝗹𝗼𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗱𝗼𝗼𝗿𝘀 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗮 𝘀𝗵𝗼𝗿𝘁 𝗳𝗲𝘄 𝘄𝗲𝗲𝗸𝘀.
“The Yard has been a place where we’ve celebrated the small moments and the big occasions together. From birthdays and after-work drinks to tense matchdays and unforgettable nights, we’ve shared so many special memories, and we want to say a heartfelt thank you to our guests and the local community for your loyalty and support.
