Package delivery firm UPS has embraced the launch of Nintendo’s new Labo cardboard accessories by creating a special carry case for the designs.

The company’s official UPS Store account posted a video of a cardboard carry case that can be folded in the same spirit as Labo Toy-Cons.

UPS said Labo had inspired it to be more creative with cardboard, and clearly people were fans of their efforts, with replies to the tweet calling for the blueprints to be made available online so users could build the case themselves.

The company has been coy about releasing the design to the public, replying to one question about whether it has blueprints with a “yes” accompanied by a winking face emoji.

And that sense of humour was repeated in other replies.

Nintendo Labo went on sale in the UK last week as a series of new ways to interact with the Nintendo Switch.

The new crafting kits come in two forms, the Variety and the Robot sets. The latter allows users to build an intricate pulley system that resides inside a backpack worn by the user along with a headset and arm and leg connectors to control robots on-screen.

The Variety kit gives users the chance to build five different Toy-Cons, including an RC car, fishing rod and piano, each of which incorporates the Switch Joy-Con controllers and console screen.
