Reason why Playboy car was spotted near Rowley Regis Tesco this week
Locals spot colourful cars bound for Spain as part of fundraising challenge.
Black Country locals have spotted colourful cars that are set to travel to Benidorm to raise money for men’s mental health.

The purpose of the uniquely designed old bangers is to increase awareness of men's mental health.
There are 5 cars and one support van preparing for the challenge.
Those participating as part of Bangers to Benidorm 2026 shared that they are taking on a “mad challenge” which hopes to raise £2000 for charity.
The group shared that they’re setting off for Benidorm on Saturday (September 5) and hope to reach the Spanish town by Monday (September 7).
On the group’s Just Giving page, Warren Hawkins said: “In September 2026 we are taking on a slightly mad challenge — finding some bangers and driving them all the way from Rowley Regis to Benidorm in Spain to raise money for mental health charity support.”
So far the fundraiser has raised £1,730 of its £2000 target for charity.
One colourful car was a unique sighting for Rowley Regis locals when it was parked up near a local Tesco.
One social media user shared images of the sighting online in a Facebook post on Wednesday, September 2.
A post read: “What’s with the playboy car opposite Tesco?
“Yesterday (Tuesday, September 1) it was further up outside the pub.”
