Road users warned to avoid Staffordshire road after tree falls
The tree was reported to have fallen down on Sevens Road and was blocking the road.
Road users near Burntwood have been urged to avoid a road after a tree fell over, leaving the road blocked.
A message on the Chase TV Facebook page reported that Sevens Road in Cannock Wood was blocked, with officers from Staffordshire Police at the scene this morning (October 25).
It also advised road users to be cautious during the current windy conditions caused by Storm Boelo.
The message read: “A fallen tree is currently blocking Sevens Road in Cannock Wood, just past Prospect Village heading towards Burntwood.
“Police are on scene.
“Please avoid the area where possible and take extra care when travelling in the area.
“With windy conditions continuing, motorists and pedestrians are urged to remain cautious and watch out for fallen branches and other potential hazards.
“Please share to help warn other road users.”
